    Instructions

    Instructions for use: dissolve 1 sachet into 500 ml fresh water and shake well before drinking. Start sipping the drink 20 to 30 minutes before workout. You can drink the total volume all at once, or you can also spread consumption over the rest of the day, or even keep it in the fridge for 24 hours. Shake well before drinking.

    Vitamin C is a crucial cofactor for the synthesis of collagen and carnitine, another substance that is found in high amounts in muscle tissue and is required to burn fatty acids for energy.
    MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is a natural compound that is rich in mineral sulphur and has both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Sulphur is part of the amino acids methionine and cysteine which are involved in the synthesis of intracellular antioxidants such as glutathione and N-acetyl cysteine. MSM works together with direct bio-available Collagen and Vitamin C (both included in the sachets) to build new, healthy tissues, improve post-workout pain and tissue stress. It speeds up the time it takes for our muscles to repair by reducing inflammatory markers from intense exercise.

    Faq

    Is this a pure BCAA product ?

    No, MBB contains BCAA but also all the other essential amino acids. BCAAs alone are not a complete protein source and are waste of money.

    You claim that BCAA alone do not work, why so?

    Proteins are the only food source that deliver Nitrogen to our body and are needed for muscle maintenance and many other functions. They are made up from 20 different amino-acids, of which 9 are essential, meaning our body cannot make them. Unlike glycogen or fat, proteins are not stored as a reserve in our body. This means that a continuous supply from food is required to maintain or repair a muscle. If only 1 of the 9 essential amino-acids is missing, the body has no other choice than to break down muscle elsewhere to obtain the necessary building blocks. BCAAs are not a complete protein source because they contain only 3 of the 9 essential amino acids.
    Therefore, supplementing with only BCAA cannot support muscle protein and will result in muscle catabolism (muscle loss). BCAAs need to be consumed with the other 6 essential amino acids to make a complete protein.

    Should I choose amino acids instead of protein powder?

    Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, which are essential for the body to function properly. Amino acids are superior to proteins because they are much easier to digest than proteins. It has been demonstrated that amino acid supplements enhance the basal rate of muscle protein turnovers, meaning that more energy is required to fuel the increased protein turnover, providing your metabolism with a long-lasting “boost” from which both weight loss and muscle building will benefit.
    Protein powder needs to be converted to amino acids before the body can use them. It also takes 3-4 hours to do so, and a big part of the content is lost in the process. Many people also get bloated from protein powder and also contains calories and sometime carbs.
    Amino acids of the other hand are ready to be used by your cells and are effective within 20 minutes from you take it.

    What do you mean with 2:1:1 ratio?

    The ratio between the 3 amino acids is indicated with three numbers, where the first number refers to Leucine, the second to Isoleucine and the third to Valine. BCAA 2:1:1 therefore means that the powder contains 2 parts of Leucine for every part of Isoleucine and Valine. The proportion of 2:1:1 is the most similar to the natural presence of these 3 amino acids in muscle tissue, which is why it is most efficient.

    Why do you include Collagen II. That is a very expensive ingredient?
